RJ is a Principal in Deloitte's Strategy Consulting practice, specializing in top management issues most critical to long-term success. Advising clients across the commercial, federal, and non-profit health sectors, RJ focuses in the areas of Enterprise Strategy, Customer Strategy, and Innovation in his role as a leader of Federal Innovation and Translational Medicine at Deloitte Consulting. RJ has varied industry experience and considerable expertise in strategic planning, innovation planning, market entry, and competitive strategy – most recently at Veterans Affairs, National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, and the World Economic Forum.

RJ is passionate about driving innovation in government, and brings significant experience and expertise from Monitor Deloitte’s Innovation Unit, Doblin. As part of Doblin, RJ has helped businesses design, build, and launch innovations by unearthing and translating new insights into business concepts specific for the enterprise. RJ also leads GovLab, Deloitte Consulting’s flagship federal think tank and innovation center.

Outside of the office, RJ enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife, Carine, and their twins. On weekends, RJ can likely be spotted at Carine’s Bridal Alterier shop in Georgetown, a leader in bridal fashion in the DC area.
